The rate he was going so I acted fast

I knew he wasn't going to last long at the rate he was going so I acted fast. I opened the window and yelled at him, he spun around and pointed the gun at me before realizing I was actually talking to him.

I told him to climb up to my window and I would hold off the creatures, he didn't have much choice so he nodded I grabbed a rifle and gave him a signal to go. He took off in a dead sprint towards the building, as he got close to each creature I would shoot the creature aiming for the head. He finally made it to the building. As he climbed up I tossed a sheet over over the window sill for him to grab on to and pulled him inside, he sat still for a minute then thanked me for helping him. As we both sat there catching our breath I realized that I had just learned something new about my self....

I'm a very good shot! We exchanged short pleasantries, considering I had little to offer. I told him what I had learned from the TV. and we decided that it would be a good idea to stick together on our trek to one of the military bases. So now we are going to try to get some sleep, and sleep with one eye open now that the creatures know we're in this building. Tomorrow we start our journey to the nearest base which is about 500 miles away and we have no idea of the state of the roads or other cities.

Right now the only thing I know about myself other than I'm quite proficient with guns, is that I want to survive and I plan to.

No one on the sidewalks in cars

Well, didn't sleep much last night. Started the day today with more questions and still no answers. Strange sounds coming out of the woods surrounding the house, loud screeching and ungodly inhuman screams and moans.

I didn't sleep much after that. I exercised extreme caution today as a explored outside the house and I still have no recollection of who I am. I found keys to the car outside, (and apparently I know how to drive a car), and drove around a little bit.

I didn't see very much at first, but soon I started seeing cars and trucks along the road empty, against my better judgement I got out and inspected a few of them and they appeared to have just been abandoned, some were even still running and I have to say that left me with quite an eerie feeling.

I drove around for quite awhile and realized that I seemed to know where I was going and I finally ended up in a small town. I needed gas so I decided to look for a station and as I drove around I started to notice that I wasn't seeing any people, no one on the sidewalks, in cars, or in any of the stores. I finally found a gas station and pulled up to the gas pump and wondered if the pump would even work and luckily it did, so I filled the car up and walked into the gas station to see if anyone was inside and of course... no one.

I at least grabbed some food, drinks, a map and a few other supplies and went back to the car. At this point I started to really worry, where the hell are all the people in this town? Why was I able to navigate this town without any recollection of it? What is going on? As I tried to figure out what was going on I noticed it was starting to get dark and with the noises I had heard the previous night I didn't want to be moving around after dark. At least not until I figure out what is going on.

I decided to try to find somewhere safe to sleep for the night and I happened upon a hotel and decided to check it out. The lights were on inside but once again there was no one there, so I helped myself to a room key and I'm hoping to get a better nights rest tonight. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm crazy, the only thing that convinces me that I'm not is reading the pages I have written in this journal.

My gut tells me that something is horribly wrong and that I should probably arm myself so maybe I'll look for something to defend myself with tomorrow as well.

surroundings seem familiar

I awoke today with no recollection of my identity or my past.
My surroundings seem familiar to me but I do not recognize this place, the house I'm in seems to have been ransacked.

I've tried the televisions, radios and computers... nothing, no signals. I thought for a moment I heard a faint voice on the radio but it disappeared as quickly as it came. Outside everything is eerily quiet, no dogs, nothing but the faint sounds of birds and insects.

My body aches and my mind is feeling quite fuzzy, I can only hope I regain some memory of who I am and what is going on soon. As it was already late when I awoke I feel that I should rest and recover more before I leave this house, luckily there was plenty of food here.

There is also a car parked in the driveway, I figure I'll look for keys tomorrow but right now I'm going to try to get some sleep and figure things out tomorrow.

Tips for healthy

Water makes up 75% of our body and 2 thirds of the earths surface, making it evident that it is important for life and growth. Your lungs, cells, vital organs, muscles, bones, tissues and brain are mostly water, and depriving them of water can lead to deterioration of all of these. This means that over time, without the adequate amount of daily water, your lungs will deteriorate, your cells will deteriorate, your heart and other vital organs will deteriorate, your muscles, your bones, your tissue and your brain will deteriorate. Even your blood is 80% water, so think about what you are doing to your insides when you don't drink enough, and think about the good you are doing for your body when you do drink enough!

Water also transports oxygen to your cells, removes toxins and waste from your body, and protects joints and organs. Lack of water, leading to dehydration, can cause dizziness, fatigue, allergies, arthritis, joint and muscle pains, headaches, constipation, and in serious cases, can cause asthma, hypertention, ulcers, disease, and even death. Pay attention to all of the people walking around that are overweight, hurting, complaining of aches and pains, or have muscle cramps, arthritis, bone and joint pain, health and heart probelms, diabetes, etc. and notice the amount of water they are drinking. Probably very little if any. How many times have have you heard of a celebrity that collapsed and is in the hospital, later to find out that it was caused from dehydration. Water is more serious then people give it credit for.

Your brain is only about 2% of your over all body mass, but it takes up to 25% of all of your nutrients, including oxygen and water! So if you are depriving your body of water, your brain is suffering greatly leading to unclear vision, focus, thinking and motor skills. Your brain runs your entire body, if you don't have your brain, you don't have anything! Even medicines, both over the counter and prescription, are largely made up of water. Many scientists, and doctors (both traditional and non) know that water plays an important role in not only overall health, but in HEALING as well! New research is being presented to show that the MAIN, most important, and possibly one of the only components in the healing process of medicines used for illness, weather it be in the treatment of something as simple as a cold or complex as cancer, is water, and increase in oxygen levels (also given to you through water).

But weather you believe that water can heal disease or not, you should know that it will definetly prevent disease, and lack of it will surely and most evidently cause disease. Did you know that once you become thirsty, you are already dehydrated! Once you are thirsty, it is too late. You should be drinking water throughout your day to prevent this. And for every hour you are outside, you should drink atleast 8 ounces of water.

You should be drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day, but as with everything, too much can be harmful. If you are drinking over a gallon of water a day and still feeling dehydrated, you should go see a doctor. And you should be careful as to which water you drink. You will want the most pure water. I personally drink spring water. There is, and always will be, question and speculation about which water to is best or worst for you. Some say that spring is the best and others say it is not. It is really up to you to decide, reseach the ingredients in your water and make your own conclusion. But I would stay away from tap water all together.  I'm sure with a little research you will find a list of others, and even information to the contrary, but like I said, draw your own conclusions.

When you are choosing the type of water, you want to make sure it is free of bacteria, parasites, metals, radioactive materials, oil, and chemicals (including pestisides, herbasides, chlorine, sewage, nitrates, phosphates, etc) which can ALL be found in tap water.

A Dutch firm is developing a high-speed bus that could take the sting out of inter-city travel

Japan might have the Shinkansen (or "Bullet Train"), but a Netherlands firm is developing a high-speed bus that could all but match the Japanese bullet for rapidity. Dubbed the Superbus concept, the 15m long, electric-powered vehicle is said to be capable of carrying 23 passengers at speeds of up to 250km/h on a dedicated "speed track". The low-slung bus was displayed earlier this year at a transport expo in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and it’s currently being trialled in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi.

If the trials prove successful, the Superbus could ply the route between Dubai and Abu Dhabi – a 120km stretch that the bus could theoretically cover in just over 30 minutes. The Superbus is the brainchild of a design team at TU Delft University of Technology in Holland, and its designers are pitching it as the shape of things to come in sustainable transport. Rather than being laid out like a conventional bus, the novel concept houses passengers in forward and backward facing rows, and there are eight doors on each flank to make for easy ingress and egress.

According to the initial proposal, the Superbus would operate on its dedicated two-lane highway between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and leave the "speed track" in urban areas to drop off passengers at agreed locations. Powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries, the 390kW Superbus is similar in length and width to a conventional bus, but in the quest for optimised aerodynamics it sits only as high as an average SUV – and it’s fronted by a beak that’s seemingly borrowed from a supercar. The high-tech Superbus is cloaked in a carbonfibre bodyshell, and it uses rear-wheel steering to boost low-speed manoeuvrability and high-speed stability. Its safety kit also includes advanced radar and electronic obstacle-detection systems.

It also deviates from the norm in that, rather than operating according to a fixed timetable, commuters would book online or with their mobile phone, and the bus would then pick them up and drop them off at their desired location. However, the Superbus is still at least four years away from being road-ready as its makers say there are still several packaging, safety and logistical issues to be resolved in the interim.

sneaky exercises

Get in some "sneaky exercises". What I mean by this is, in your downtime, the time you set aside to relax and watch tv or sit on your poarch, or whatever it is that you do for relaxation, sneak in a little exercising that is NOT counted for your daily routine. You can buy an exercise machine that fits in your living room, one that is easy to use, like an eliptical bike, a treadmill, or an ab machine (there are many different ones) that you use while you are watching tv (for example) or if you don't have or want a machine, then just do floor exercises, jumping jacks, march in place, go for a stroll, or create your own exercises right there on the couch.

It's best to stay as active as you can all day long, but even in the lazy hours of the day, keeping your body in some kind of motion can get you closer to your goals a lot quicker.

Don't count this towards your daily exercise, this is just a little extra to keep you strong, motivated and stimulated. Did you know that if you are trying to solve problems in your head or think about goals, things you want to achieve or reflect on your day and life choices, you can solve more problems and come to more elaborate realisations if your body is in motion while you are doing it! It may sound strange, but it makes sense. When you exercise you are releasing endorphins and serotonine, you are stimulating your body and brain, and more oxygen is getting to your brain. This causes you to think clearer, cause you to be more focused and you are more likely to look at things from a positive perspective and with a better understanding.

Try it the next time you need to solve something. Don't put too much thought into it, just do it, think about your problem and work it out in your head while you're exercising. You'll keep your body moving without any effort and you'll come to a clearer understanding of whatever you're trying to solved.

Even on television exercise machines part 2

Fats, on the other hand, is well-nown for being the richest source of calories. It actually contains 2.5 times more calories than carbohydrates and proteins alike. Studies also show that it takes the body 24 calories to metabolize carbohydrates while it only takes 3 to burn down fat. So which one to follow? A person can follow a high carb and low fat fitness diet or the other way around. It is absolutely not recommended to follow both at the same time; unless of course if you want to gain body fat.

But then diet fitness is not all about losing fat, one must also consider his diet in order to keep fat away. Research shows that sustainable loss of weight can only be achieved on a diet which suits the individual food preferences, lifestyle, medical profile and satiety signals.

Diet programs all over can help you shed off excess pounds, but only one diet can help you stay sexy, and it is the one that satisfies you most. Other important aspects of having a fit diet are moderation, balance and variation. One must be careful not to leave out important nutrients and other substances necessary for healthy body functioning. health organizations are clear about the amounts of nutrients an individual should have in the body.

Low fat high carbs, high carbs low fat; the question is not which diet program will work out but which is it that will work for you. Striving for a sexy and healthy body does not have to burden an individual, diet fitness does not have to mean sticking to the same kind of food for life. One may even try to be adventurous and try out new foods out there. Who knows? one may even discover spinach interesting.

What is your Biggest Idea?

"Money flows to the great ideas". This is a great phrase that I got from the book Cracking The Millionaire Code. There are four codes that need to be solved to be a Millionaire (also for all areas) and the first is to find a great idea, because the money (or success) flows into a great idea.

Your task is to find such a great idea. You simply find one, well just one great idea only, to get the success, breakthroughs, or the incredible things in your life. Great idea Robert G Allen (author of the book) to find great ideas in the form of the idea of writing Nothing Down has made him a millionare. Mark Victor Hansen, find the idea of Chicken Soup for the Soul, which made millions of dollars he received royalties.

What's your great idea?
Great ideas are everywhere. In your subconscious mind, in the air, from people talking, from the objects around you, and a variety of sources which are very numerous in number.

There are two steps to get results from a great idea. First find the first idea, both take action to realize the idea.

How do I find a great idea? The idea could have remained hidden. You must remove the idea. If you are just putting out ideas in small amounts, it could be your greatest ideas have come out. Therefore, you need to remove as many ideas as possible. The more ideas you spend, the greater the chances terhabat ideas emerge. You need to be creative !

Secondly, once you find these ideas, take action to realize your ideas. As great as any ideas you have, will not provide benefits to you unless you take action to mewujudakannya.

The main cause of a person fails to realize his idea because he failed to access the necessary resources. This is actually the main cause of all business, all the problem has a solution if we can access the resources necessary to cope with the solution.

Whatever it takes to realize your idea? Anyone who can help realize your ideas? How do I get what is needed? How do I get help from people who can help you? You need a team to answer all these questions. So wake up the team to realize your greatest ideas.

Possible trade scenarios

1) Lets assume prevailing (major) trend is down and we are in a minor up-trend. Strategy would be to sell when the current price on 5-minute chart falls below the 60 period moving average and the 60 period moving average line is sloping downward. Why? Because the prevailing trend is reasserting itself and the next move is likely to be down. Is there more we can do? Yes. Look for further confirmation. For example, if the minor trend had stalled for a while and the lows of the past half hour or hour are very close to the 5 minute moving average then selling just below the lows of the past half hour is a better place to enter the market then just below the moving average line.

2) Lets assume prevailing (major) trend is down and 5-minute chart confirms downtrend. Strategy would be to wait for a minor (up trend) trend to appear and reverse before entering the market. The reason for this is that the move is too “mature” at this point and a correction is likely. Since you trade with tight stops you will be stopped out on a reaction. Exception: If market trades through today’s low and/ or low of past three days (these levels will be apparent on the 15 minute chart) further quick downward price action is likely and a short position would be correct.

3) A better strategy assuming prevailing trend down, 5-minute chart down, and just above days lows is to BUY with a tight stop below the day’s low. Your risk is limited and defined and the technical condition (overdone?) is in your favor. Confirmation would be if today’s low was a bit higher than yesterday’s low and the price action indicated a very short-term trading range (1 minute chart) just above today’s low. The thinking here is that buyers are not waiting for a break of today’s or yesterday’s low to buy cheaper; they are concerned they may not see the level.

4) Generally speaking, the safest place to buy is after a sustained significant decline when the bottoms are getting higher. Preferably these bottoms will be hours apart. By the third or forth higher bottom it is clear a bottom is in place and an up-move is coming. As in the example above your risk is limited and defined – a low lower than the last low.

5) The reverse is true in major up-trends.

Courage Under Stressful Conditions When the Outcome is Uncertain

All the foreign exchange trading knowledge in the world is not going to help, unless you have the nerve to buy and sell currencies and put your money at risk. As with the lottery “You gotta be in it to win it”. Trust me when I say that the simple task of hitting the buy or sell key is extremely difficult to do when your own real money is put at risk.

You will feel anxiety, even fear. Here lies the moment of truth. Do you have the courage to be afraid and act anyway? When a fireman runs into a burning building I assume he is afraid but he does it anyway and achieves the desired result. Unless you can overcome or accept your fear and do it anyway, you will not be a successful trader.

However, once you learn to control your fear, it gets easier and easier and in time there is no fear. The opposite reaction can become an issue – you’re overconfident and not focused enough on the risk you're taking.

Both the inability to initiate a trade, or close a losing trade can create serious psychological issues for a trader going forward. By calling attention to these potential stumbling blocks beforehand, you can properly prepare prior to your first real trade and develop good trading habits from day one.

Start by analyzing yourself. Are you the type of person that can control their emotions and flawlessly execute trades, oftentimes under extremely stressful conditions? Are you the type of person who’s overconfident and prone to take more risk than they should? Before your first real trade you need to look inside yourself and get the answers. We can correct any deficiencies before they result in paralysis (not pulling the trigger) or a huge loss (overconfidence). A huge loss can prematurely end your trading career, or prolong your success until you can raise additional capital.

The difficulty doesn’t end with “pulling the trigger”. In fact what comes next is equally or perhaps more difficult. Once you are in the trade the next hurdle is staying in the trade. When trading foreign exchange you exit the trade as soon as possible after entry when it is not working. Most people who have been successful in non-trading ventures find this concept difficult to implement.

For example, real estate tycoons make their fortune riding out the bad times and selling during the boom periods. The problem with trying to adapt a 'hold on until it comes back' strategy in foreign exchange is that most of the time the currencies are in long-term persistent, directional trends and your equity will be wiped out before the currency comes back.

The other side of the coin is staying in a trade that is working. The most common pitfall is closing out a winning position without a valid reason. Once again, fear is the culprit. Your subconscious demons will be scaring you non-stop with questions like “what if news comes out and you wind up with a loss”. The reality is if news comes out in a currency that is going up, the news has a higher probability of being positive than negative (more on why that is so in a later article).

So your fear is just a baseless annoyance. Don’t try and fight the fear. Accept it. Have a laugh about it and then move on to the task at hand, which is determining an exit strategy based on actual price movement. As Garth says in Waynesworld “Live in the now man”. Worrying about what could be is irrational. Studying your chart and determining an objective exit point is reality based and rational.

Another common pitfall is closing a winning position because you are bored with it; its not moving. In Football, after a star running back breaks free for a 50-yard gain, he comes out of the game temporarily for a breather. When he reenters the game he is a serious threat to gain more yards – this is indisputable. So when your position takes a breather after a winning move, the next likely event is further gains – so why close it?

If you can be courageous under fire and strategically patient, foreign exchange trading may be for you. If you’re a natural gunslinger and reckless you will need to tone your act down a notch or two and we can help you make the necessary adjustments. If putting your money at risk makes you a nervous wreck its because you lack the knowledge base to be confident in your decision making.

Patience to Gain Knowledge through Study and Focus
Many new traders believe all you need to profitably trade foreign currencies are charts, technical indicators and a small bankroll. Most of them blow up (lose all their money) within a few weeks or months; some are initially successful and it takes as long as a year before they blow up. A tiny minority with good money management skills, patience, and a market niche go on to be successful traders. Armed with charts, technical indicators, and a small bankroll, the chance of succeeding is probably 500 to 1.

To increase your chances of success to near certainty requires knowledge; acquiring knowledge takes hard work, study, dedication and focus. Compile your knowledge base without taking any shortcuts, thereby assuring a solid foundation to build upon.

Foreign investing is considered by many investors

Foreign Investment / Stock Exposure - Foreign investing is considered by many investors as a way to either diversify an investment portfolio or seek a larger return on investment(s) in an economy believed to be growing at a faster pace than investment(s) in the respective domestic economy. Investing in foreign stocks automatically exposes the investor to foreign exchange rate risk and speculative risk.

For example, an investor buys a particular amount of foreign currency (in exchange for domestic currency) in order to purchase shares of a foreign stock. The investor is now automatically exposed to two separate risks.

First, the stock price may go either up or down and the investor is exposed to the speculative stock price risk.

Second, the investor is exposed to foreign exchange rate risk because the foreign exchange rate may either appreciate or depreciate from the time the investor first purchased the foreign stock and the time the investor decides to exit the position and repatriates the currency (exchanges the foreign currency back to domestic currency). Therefore, even if a speculative profit is achieved because the foreign stock price rose, the investor could actually net lose money if devaluation of the foreign currency occurred while the investor was holding the foreign stock (and the devaluation amount was greater than the speculative profit). Placing a foreign exchange hedge can help to manage this foreign exchange rate risk.

Hedging Speculative Positions - Foreign currency traders utilize foreign exchange hedging to protect open positions against adverse moves in foreign exchange rates, and placing a foreign exchange hedge can help to manage foreign exchange rate risk. Speculative positions can be hedged via a number of foreign exchange hedging vehicles that can be used either alone or in combination to create entirely new foreign exchange hedging strategies.

Tips is your forgot your windowsXP password

If you have access to another user account with administrator rights, you can use that account to change the password of the account that is locked out. You can also use the default Administrator account that is built into Windows XP.

First you need to boot the system into Safe Mode.
1.Restart your system.
2.When you see the blue Dell globe or screen, press the (F8) key about 3 times a second.
3.You should get the Windows startup menu. Use the (Up or Down) arrow keys to highlight (SafeMode)
4.Press (Enter) on (Safe Mode), then press (Enter) on (Windows XP).
5.The system should boot to Safe Mode.

Once you are at the Account Log on Screen, click on the icon for the user account with administrator rights, or click on the icon for the administrators account.
Note: For Home the Administrator account isn't normally shown & in Safe Mode you have to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys twice to show.

For WindowsXP-PRO you can do this in normal mode
When the system has booted to the desktop, use the following steps to change the accounts password.
1.Click Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools.
2.Click Computer Management.
3.Double click Local Users and Groups, double click the folder Users.
4.Right click on the account name that is locked out, and click on Set Password.
5.You may get a warning message about changing the password, simply click proceed.
6.Leave the New Password box blank, also leave the Confirm Password box blank.
7.Click OK, and OK again.
8.Then close all Windows, reboot the system and try to log in.

If the above information does not help in recovering the password, the only option left is to format the hard drive then reinstall Windows and the system software.
:D
