No one on the sidewalks in cars

Well, didn't sleep much last night. Started the day today with more questions and still no answers. Strange sounds coming out of the woods surrounding the house, loud screeching and ungodly inhuman screams and moans.

I didn't sleep much after that. I exercised extreme caution today as a explored outside the house and I still have no recollection of who I am. I found keys to the car outside, (and apparently I know how to drive a car), and drove around a little bit.

I didn't see very much at first, but soon I started seeing cars and trucks along the road empty, against my better judgement I got out and inspected a few of them and they appeared to have just been abandoned, some were even still running and I have to say that left me with quite an eerie feeling.

I drove around for quite awhile and realized that I seemed to know where I was going and I finally ended up in a small town. I needed gas so I decided to look for a station and as I drove around I started to notice that I wasn't seeing any people, no one on the sidewalks, in cars, or in any of the stores. I finally found a gas station and pulled up to the gas pump and wondered if the pump would even work and luckily it did, so I filled the car up and walked into the gas station to see if anyone was inside and of course... no one.

I at least grabbed some food, drinks, a map and a few other supplies and went back to the car. At this point I started to really worry, where the hell are all the people in this town? Why was I able to navigate this town without any recollection of it? What is going on? As I tried to figure out what was going on I noticed it was starting to get dark and with the noises I had heard the previous night I didn't want to be moving around after dark. At least not until I figure out what is going on.

I decided to try to find somewhere safe to sleep for the night and I happened upon a hotel and decided to check it out. The lights were on inside but once again there was no one there, so I helped myself to a room key and I'm hoping to get a better nights rest tonight. I'm starting to wonder if maybe I'm crazy, the only thing that convinces me that I'm not is reading the pages I have written in this journal.

My gut tells me that something is horribly wrong and that I should probably arm myself so maybe I'll look for something to defend myself with tomorrow as well.

Why was the lizard afraid?

it was like a million dollar question to me.

I tried to wear the boots of lizard rather to say it in a better way I tried to imagine like the lizard may had imagined.
"He must have felt that I was a greater reptile who wanted to devour him"
The Lizard misjudged me,

For,I am neither a reptile nor have taste of eating house lizards.

We are too like that meek lizard and feel that the situation we are facing is abhorrent one but really is it so.Even the worst of the worst situation adds the shining gem experience in life which is most valuable achievement, some times we have a mere apprehension that we would facing hardships.

And in final words I would say,"If we disbelief in Sun then it would never shine."

Even in throwing a party

In any project, the first step is always the hardest. However, once you overcome the first step, everything will fall into place. Well, not all the time. Things can still be topsy-turvy even if you’ve outlined the things to make your fantastic idea a reality for in-maya.

Even in throwing a party, all the preparations needed can leave you cursing this responsibility. Relieve yourself from agony and stop being a martyr. Holler for a friend or two to be your aide. Not to worry about who’ll take the credits because you’ll be playing boss here. Pretend that you have your own events company. Having friends around will save you from over milking your brain for ideas.

Brainstorming is a great way to pool in creative approaches to a problem. Share your ideas and highlight the complexities. Be open to extreme propositions. Facilitate and lead them to what you want to achieve. After you come up with brilliant and feasible suggestions, designate the tasks. Logistics is the main dirty work. One of the tedious jobs in hosting a party is selecting your guests. This job also involves making the invitations and double-checking their contact information.

Next to that is arranging the venue. Even if it is your home, you will still have to consider its availability on the targeted date of the party. What if your roommate’s folks are visiting on that day? Include alternative party venues in your brainstorming, so are emergency protocols if the unimaginable happened. Ask your team to report the progress of their assignments. If you only have one partner, then equally divide the tasks and regularly consult each other. With a team, everyone can truly enjoy a great party.

China shuts chemical plant amid mass protest

Authorities in a Chinese city ordered the immediate shutdown of a chemical plant on Sunday as thousands of protesters took to the streets demanding the factory be moved over pollution fears.

The demonstration by some 12,000 residents in the northeastern city of Dalian is the latest bout of unrest to hit China as anger over issues such as social inequalities and environmental degradation boils over.

Residents in the port city in Liaoning province gathered in front of the municipal government's office on Sunday morning, and were joined by more and more people, the official Xinhua news agency said.

Some scuffled with riot police, throwing bottles of water at them as they tried to cordon off one of the city's main arteries, but there were no reports of injuries, it added.

Hundreds of people then broke off and started moving to other parts of the city, chanting slogans and waving banners. According to unconfirmed postings on Twitter, a lot of armed police vehicles were seen moving into the city.

The largely peaceful protest was triggered by mounting fears over the safety of a factory that makes paraxylene -- a flammable carcinogenic liquid used in the production of polyester films and fabrics.

On Monday, residents living near the plant had to be evacuated after waves triggered by an incoming storm breached a dyke protecting the factory and threatened to damage the building, sparking fears of a toxic chemical spill.

Workers managed to repair the dyke, but residents have been left worried about the potential for environmental damage by the plant, which belongs to the private Fujia Group.

The municipal government ordered the plant be closed "immediately" after protesters refused to disperse, and also pledged to relocate the plant, Xinhua reported. Calls to the government went unanswered on Sunday.

One hotel receptionist, who refused to be named, told AFP by phone that protesters were worried about their health. "If people had a better choice, they would not take to the streets," she said.

Pictures of the protest posted on Sina's Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, showed people marching down a street with a banner that read: "We want to survive, we want a good environment, give me back my Dalian."

Other pictures showed wide streets full of protesters, hundreds of people staging a sit-in on a square in front of the government office, and children taking part in the demonstrations with their parents.

In a sign of the sensitivity of the protest, China's censors appeared to be blocking any mention of the subject on Weibo.

Searches for "Dalian" came up with a message saying "search results cannot be displayed due to relevant laws, regulations and policies."

Pollution-related scares are common in China -- the world's biggest emitter of greenhouse gases -- where an emphasis on economic growth over the past three decades has led to widespread environmental degradation.

As such, environmental problems have triggered a rising number of riots and other forms of public unrest over the years.

In one high-profile case in 2007, work on a billion-dollar petrochemical plant in the southeastern port city of Xiamen was scrapped following huge public discontent about industrial pollution.

The Dalian protest is the latest bout of unrest to hit China in recent months, as social discontent and ethnic tensions boil over.

On Thursday, thousands of people took to the streets in the southwestern province of Guizhou, with some smashing and burning vehicles, after a city official "chengguan" in Chinese injured a female cyclist.

The "chengguan" responsible for low-level policing on China's streets are widely disliked and have a reputation for using brute force against civilians.

In July, the far-western region of Xinjiang -- home to the mainly Muslim Uighur minority -- was the scene of at least three violent attacks and clashes that killed more than 30 people.

And in late May, thousands of ethnic Mongols protested in northern China for several days over the killing of a herder.

Explain how the secret to finding a way out

Now, I will explain how the secret to finding a way out.
Step One: I set goals. How many targets that I need. This is important, because a clear goal and will definitely help us build a plan. People are confused about what to do, because he did not have a clear purpose. The goal is floating. For example they say, I need money. I want to pay the debt, and so on.

Well, so there is always the road, set specific goals. Numbers and time must exist in your destination. If you need money, how much and when? If you need a car, what car and when?

Step Two: I start from what is there. I list all the assets I have. Often times people are confused about what to do, especially in desperate condition. In fact what he had in fact could be used to solve the problem. What you have is perfectly adequate to achieve success.

It is strange if people who complain because he felt did not have anything. I reiterate: you have the capital. By leveraging existing capital, you can reach any target. That is by using what already exists, there will always be the road.

Step Three: here's the secret... I use the leverage. What does he mean? I mean using existing resources (or sober) to achieve our goals. By using the principle of leverage, you will be surprised that the resources you have is perfectly adequate and can be used to get anything.

What is asbestos?

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that has been used in a range of building materials to make them more rigid and fire resistant. It has also been used in household products like ironing boards and oven gloves. Asbestos was used extensively as a building material in Great Britain from the 1950s through to the mid 1980s.

Some areas in your home where you may find asbestos include:
  • eaves, gutters and rainwater fall pipes
  • fire blankets
  • boilers
  • garage and shed roofs
  • linings for walls, ceilings and doors
  • insulation panels in some storage heaters
  • bath panels
  • central heating flues
  • loose asbestos packing between floors and in partition walls
  • floor tiles
  • ironing boards
  • ceiling finishes
Removal Asbestos procedures
If removal is to be performed when users are still present in the building, it is usually necessary to relocate some users temporarily. Typically, the part of the building from which asbestos is being removed has to be sealed off in order to prevent contamination of the other areas. Methods of sealing off an area often include the use of Polyethylene film, duct tape and negative air pressure machines which are fitted with HEPA filters. The idea is that the contained area is pulling fresh air in as to not allow asbestos fibers into the surrounding environment.

Only a special vacuum cleaner that's designed for asbestos containment (class H) can be safely used when cleaning up during and after asbestos removal. Ordinary vacuum cleaners cannot be used, even those fitted with a HEPA filter.[1] An ordinary vacuum cleaner will expel the asbestos fibres into the room air.

If the building is closed to normal users, it may be necessary to seal it off from outside atmosphere so that no accessible air is contaminated. Examples of asbestos removal enterprises include the Jussieu Campus (begun circa 1996 and still going on as of 2005[update]) and the Tour Montparnasse (in 2005, projected duration was three years if the tower was emptied of its users, and ten years if it were not). Removal is not the only means of asbestos abatement. Asbestos and asbestos-bearing materials may be "enclosed" or "encapsulated" to prevent building occupants from being exposed to the fibers.

An asbestos-containing building that is to be torn down may have to be sealed (see third picture on right), and to have its asbestos safely removed before ordinary demolition can be performed. The asbestos removal may take longer and cost more than the actual demolition. For example, the former seat of parliament of East Germany, the Palast der Republik, was stripped of most of its asbestos between 1998 and 2001, before it was finally demolished starting in 2006.
